G-FLY™ foam: Graphene-enhanced G-FLY™ foam retains its optimum levels of cushioned thickness and snappy energy return for longer, helping long-distance hikers fell fresher over longer distances.

Dynamic Fascia Band™ (DFB): replicates the anatomical position of the plantar fascia ligament and duplicates the function of the human's foot ability to use the "windlass effect". The inov-8 fascia band™ also replicates the benefits of the windlass effect of the human plantar structure. Originating at the front of the heel's outsole the fascia band extends forward along the outsole and divides, just as the human fascia divides, into 5 bands that terminate anterior to the metatarsal heads. As body weight moves forward onto the metatarsal heads and the toes begin to extend, tension on the inov-8 fascia band™ increases. When the heel leaves the ground, the inov-8 fascia band™ resists elongation of the medial arch and carries the entire body weight of the runner converting the shoe into a rigid propulsion lever.

Graphene: is a sheet of carbon just one atom thick and is the strongest material on earth, 200 times stronger than steel, as well as the thinnest. Graphene is extraordinarily flexible and can be bent, twisted, folded and stretched without damage and is almost entirely transparent. Infused into rubber in the inov-8 G-Series of shoes has proven to make them 50% stronger, 50% more elastic and 50% harder wearing. This graphene-enhanced rubber can flex and grip to all surfaces more effectively without wearing down quickly to provide a reliably strong, long-lasting grip.
