Raide Trail Tech Short - Men's

$279.99

The Raide Trail Tech Short is a men's trail running short with a tight-style liner and storage built in. It is for runners who want to carry water and fuel without a pack on their back. Five pockets hold a load close to the body, and a 360mL locking cap flask comes in the box. It pairs with a Raide running belt, with the pocket openings sitting below the belt line.

  • The liner-based pockets keep gels, phone and flask snug and bounce-free.
  • Pocket openings fall below a Raide belt, so you can layer the two.
  • Hidden elastic bands carry poles, an ice axe or a layer.
  • Laser perforated waistband and internal drawcord for a secure, airy fit.
  • Flask included, so you can run out the door.
  • Pockets: 5: 2 large, 2 gel, 1 zipped
  • Included: 360mL Hydrapak locking cap soft flask
  • Outer fabric: Toray DotAir, 92gsm, 40d x 40d, 85% nylon, 15% spandex
  • Liner: 205gsm, 80% recycled polyester, 20% elastane, made in Italy
  • Inseam: 5.25 inch short, 4.25 inch liner
  • Weight: 171g (size M)
  • Waistband: Laser perforated, internal drawstring
  • Liner hem: Silicone grip
  • Extra carry: Hidden elastic bands for pole, ice axe or layer
  • Runs of two to three hours on a single flask
  • Racing with aid stations or drop bags
  • Hot days when a vest is too much

Less suited to: unsupported mountain days needing lots of water and kit. For that, look at our running vests.

Most running shorts have a pocket that bounces as soon as it holds anything heavy. Raide borrowed the idea from running tights and put the storage in the liner. It sits neatly between a basic short and a full vest.
