The Raide 500mL Locking Cap Flask is the middle ground flask most runners actually reach for most often, big enough for a solid session but not so bulky it takes over a belt pocket. Made by Hydrapak with the same locking cap tech as the rest of the Raide flask lineup, it stays sealed under pressure instead of dribbling down your hip every time you bend or stride out. It's built to run alongside the Raide LF 2L Running Belt as a second flask, or to replace a bite valve bottle that's been letting you down.

  • No more damp shorts from a valve popping under pressure, the locking cap stays sealed until you actually want it open
  • Soft and collapsible, so it shrinks down as you drink instead of turning into a hard lump in your pocket
  • Sized to stack neatly alongside a second flask in the back of a belt, so you're not choosing between capacity and comfort
  • Wide opening makes topping up from a tap or stream quick, and it works with popular filter attachments if you want to filter on the go
  • Volume: 500mL
  • Dimensions: 9.5" x 3" x 1.625" (with cap on)
  • Cap: Hydrapak low profile locking cap
  • Filter compatible: fits Katadyn BeFree and Hydrapak filter tops
  • Material: soft, collapsible flask body
  • Made by Hydrapak
  • Runners who want a second or spare flask that stacks neatly alongside the 650mL in the back of a running belt
  • Short to medium runs where 650mL is more than needed but a single small flask isn't enough
  • Anyone upgrading from a bite valve soft flask that's been leaking under belt or vest pressure
  • Less suited to longer, hotter days where you'll want maximum volume from a single flask. Our Raide 650mL Locking Cap Flask covers that without needing a second bottle.

Not every run needs 650mL and not every run suits carrying two flasks either, so we wanted the middle size covered properly. This flask uses the same locking cap that's fixed the leaking complaints we hear about other soft flasks, just in a size that suits shorter sessions or pairs cleanly with a second flask for longer ones. It's a small addition to the range, but it rounds out the Raide flask lineup properly instead of leaving a gap between the 360mL and 650mL.
