Lifesystems Heatshield Thermal Bag

• Full body coverage rather than a blanket you have to hold on.
• Metallised film is windproof and waterproof.
• Weighs 110 g and packs to a small sack.
• Reusable, so one bag can come on many trips.

• Material: Metallised low-density polyethylene, taped seams
• Heat: Reflects and retains over 90% of radiated body heat
• Weather: Windproof, waterproof, radar reflective
• Weight: 110 g
• Size, unpacked: 210 x 90 cm
• Size, packed: 70 x 60 x 60 mm
• Includes: Compact storage sack

• Adventure racers with compulsory kit.
• Mountain runners carrying emergency backup.
• Hikers and fastpackers.
• Anyone wanting a light emergency layer in a pack.

Less suited to: Runners wanting something to wear while moving, or a sleeping bag replacement. For that, look at Jackets.

It's emergency kit that's light enough that you'll actually pack it. We like the full-body shape, which is easier to get into than a basic foil blanket.
