CLIF BLOKS Energy Chews - Strawberry

$9.99
Taxes included. Shipping calculated at checkout.
Description

CLIF BLOKS Strawberry are caffeine-free energy chews with a sweet strawberry flavour. They come as bite-sized cubes, so you can take a little energy at a time on long runs, tramps and race day without reaching for a gel. Clif suggests half a packet 15 minutes before you start, then a packet or two each hour, each with a mouthful of water.

Why You'll Love It
  • Sweet strawberry flavour that is easy to like
  • No caffeine, so they work for afternoon or evening runs too
  • Cubes let you dose a little at a time
  • Something solid to chew when gels start to feel samey
Technical Features
  • Format: Energy chews, bite-sized cubes
  • Calories: 100 per serving (Clif US figure)
  • Sodium: 50mg per serving (Clif US figure)
  • Caffeine: None, not one of the Clif caffeinated flavours
  • How to use: Half a packet 15 minutes before activity, then 1 to 2 packets per hour during activity, each followed by a mouthful of water
  • Ingredients: Tapioca syrup, cane sugar and maltodextrin, with black carrot juice for colour and a little sea salt. Most ingredients are organic
Perfect For
  • Long training runs and day tramps
  • Runners new to fuelling who want an easy place to start
  • Anyone who likes a chew over a gel

Less suited to: Hot races where you want extra salt with your carbs. For that, look at CLIF BLOKS Margarita.

Why We Stock It

Strawberry is the sweet, fruity option in our CLIF BLOKS range, with no caffeine and no extra salt. It is a friendly first chew for runners still working out what their stomach likes, and a nice change from berry or citrus flavours on long days.
