Description

The FRACTEL L-Series ORBIT Legionnaire Hat is a running cap with an extended neck cape that shades your neck and ears. It suits trail runners, hikers and anyone out for hours under a hard summer sun.

The deep crown and soft 6cm brim pack down easily, a chin clip and bungee keep it on in the wind, and corner buttons let you close the cape in when the weather turns. In the ORBIT colourway the cape is finished in orange.

Less suited to: Hot road sessions where you want as much airflow over your head as possible. For that, look at the caps and visors in our headwear.

Why We Stock It

A cap leaves the back of the neck exposed, and the NZ summer sun is harsh there. The L-Series adds a proper cape without going all the way to a bucket hat, and the ponytail version means it works for more of our community.

Shipping & Returns

Shipping: $10 flat rate NZ-wide, free on orders $200+, and no rural surcharge. Order before 1pm (Mon–Fri) and it usually ships the same day. Most parcels arrive in 2–5 working days.

Click & collect: pick up from the shop in Three Parks, Wānaka. Usually ready within 1–2 hours.

Returns: changed your mind? Exchange or store credit within 14 days of your parcel arriving (7 days for in-store purchases). Items need to be unused with tags on, and footwear tried on indoors only. Sale items, socks, nutrition, gift cards and safety gear can't be returned.
